ATTACK ON JOURNALIST: LAGOS STATE  GOVT GOES AFTER PERPETRATORS
Lagos state government has directed the state commissioner of police  Abiodun Alabi to immediately investigate and persecute all the perpetrators of the attack on the journalist which occurred between Ebute -Ero and Adeniji, Iga Iduganran, Lagos Island on 19th June while returning in governors entourage from the welcome program for Apc presidential candidate Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu at Oba of Lagos Palace.

In a statement released by the commissioner for information and strategy, Gbenga Omotosho the governor condemn the incident and reassure the media of the cordial relationship prevailing by both parties, warning that nobody or group would be allowed to cause disaffection.

 He however promised that the state would pay the hospital bills of the affected journalist in the ugly incident.
