The presidential candidate of the All progressives Congress arrived in Lagos via Muritala Muhammed International  Airport at exactly 3.30 pm on Sunday 19th June 2022 amidst fanfare and a rousing welcome by supporters who thronged the airport to show solidarity and support.

He arrived in the company of Lagos west senator Olamilekan Solomon ( Yayi), Lagos east senator Mikhail Adetokunbo Abiru,  Ahmed Shetima former governor of Borno state, Alhaji Gadunje, and Hope Uzodima, party leaders at national, state level and some chairmen local government in Lagos state.
The APC presidential candidate and national leader of the party waved to the crowd as his entourage drove to his bouillon residence and palace of Oba of Lagos where other welcome programs had been slated.
About a week ago Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu was given the mandate to be All progressives Congress presidential candidate in the 2023 presidential election by the delegates of the party at the party primary election 
 
According to our correspondence, hoodlums attacked the press crew attached to the governor's office on their return from the palace of Oba of Lagos in Lagos Island  where the state governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the party-state executives held a reception  for the presidential candidate 

The village reporter team welcome the sagacious political leader back to his base and wished him success in the general election.
