Sports news: Golden Eaglet qualifies for Africa U-17 Nations cup

GOLDEN EAGLET ZOOM TO FINAL 
The golden eaglet today June 21, 2022, at cape coast stadium in Ghana, qualified for the final stage of the WAFU B U-17 competition beating the junior elephant of Cote D'Ivoire  3-1 in the semi-final stage of the competition.
The Golden eaglet came from a goal down to subdue their opponent, scored two goals to lead in the first half, and scored another in the second half to end the game at 3-1.
With the result, the U-17 team of Nigeria automatically qualifies for the AFCON U-17 nations cup slated for next year in Algeria.
The golden eaglet would play the winner of the match between Ghana and Burkina Faso in the final stage of the competition .

Emmanuel Micheal's free-kick and Abubakar Abdullahi's goals gave Nigeria victory while the Man of the Match award was given to Emmanuel Micheal his third in the competition
