politics :Jandor denies Funke Akindlele

* set to name running mate on July 12th
The Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) governorship candidate in Lagos state for the 2023 election has denied as rumor that  Nollywood actress Funke Akindlele has been chosen as his running mate.

He said it was just mere speculation as the party has not decided on such and   has four more  credible candidates namely: Gbadebo Rodes-Vivour, 
Yeye Shobanjo, David Kolawole Vaughan known as Dakova, and Egnr Teslim Balogun but  promised that his  running mate would be unveiled on 12th July.
Speaking on various agendas of his party( PDP) and government for the state if he occupies the Alausa secretariat, he said Lagos continuous experiencing  flooding for over two decades was as a result of the ruling party in the state  comatose  approach to the issue and promised a better and improved method to solve the problem with adequate informations to residents of the state before the annual rainy season and not this retroactive method by the current government of APC.

On education, he promised free and qualitative education for our children with a better daily meal program, though he was unable to give accurate data on the numbers of teachers and schools in the state he said his focus would be how to reduce the number of out of school children roaming our community and provide adequate manpower for the schools .

On the state of poor roads in the state, he said his  government would partner with private organisation and stakeholders in taking drastic decision to provide quality roads whose terms and condition would be well spelt out and transparent , he lambasted the current governor as lacking deep knowledge of Lagos interior, reason for most of our community's roads  suffers adequate  negligence but concentrate development in the high brow areas.
He emphasizes that with the amount of money generated in Lagos state, the state has little to show for it in terms of infrastructural development, Lagos is only rich on paper he sad.
On the bogus debt profile of the state, the Pdp candidate said when he becomes the governor, he would re-negotiate some of the the loans and  migrate business in the informal sector to formal sector for the state to generate more internal revenue and provide enabling environment for their business to thrive.

On the menace of okada in the state, he promised not a total ban because some of the roads in our community are not motorable and life in those areas dependent on bikes but their activities would be highly regulated, and other opportunities to make Lagos great would be planned out.

He lambasted the ruling party on the activities of the  miscreants known as agbero for encouraging their activities because they are their tools but said his government already has a plan to tame their activities and ensure the security of lives and property in the state.

He advised Lagosians to encourage their family and friends to get their PVC and be a partner in setting Lagos state free.
