LAGOS SECURITY : DEBACLE OF UNCOMPLETED BRT TICKET CUBICLES

LAGOS SECURITY: DEBACLE OF UNCOMPLETED BRT CUBICLES
The attention of the Lagos state government and its agent is once again drawn to the uncompleted cubicles of BRT buses on the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway which is becoming a habitat for criminals and destitute at night.
Over four years after the BRT buses and routes commissioned by the past Administration of Gov.Akinwunmi Ambode, it's appalling that the cubicles which ought to serve as ticketing points have not been completed and vandalized with some still in the state of destruction of endears protest one year after making it a scrappy structure, same uncompleted stories at Oshodi Bus terminal with some of the infrastructure getting decayed and used for the wrong purposes in antagonist nature to the core design. When would the Bus terminal be 100% completed and give Oshodi and Lagos the planned transport service before the project becomes an elephant project?
If truly security is our collective responsibility that when "we see something we must say something" we are calling on the Lagos state government, commissioner of police, and DPOs on this axis to set up a surveillance team on those cubicle points at night to ward off crime alleged to have been perpetuated at those points under the shadow of darkness.

Lagos state government should similarly revert the light-up scheme on major highs way, particularly Lagos-Abeokuta express road.

For months most parts of the city are in darkness and no government ministry saddle with the responsibility has come up to give reasons for the darkness or when the lights would be restored on the routes.
Darkness is one of the agents that aided criminality., the 2023 Electioneering campaign would commence in earnest and to avoid high rate of criminality activity Babajide Sanwo-Olu should get rid of any criminal hideout in all nooks and cranes of lagos state.
